The finance team at AGA Rangemaster was finding it impossible to gain an accurate picture of real-time company expenditure because of their manual accounts payable process. The inefficient logging and tracking of outstanding invoices made it difficult to gather data to produce reliable monthly management reports. They needed to tighten up company cashflow to help with forecasting but didn’t want the hassle of setting up and maintaining new technology themselves.

We quickly set up an online Supplier:Safe hub for them, and re-routed all incoming invoices through it, capturing them accurately using AI and automatic capture technology. This has removed laborious manual inputting from the team and provided a clear central place where the status of any invoice can be shown at any one time. Tracking approvals or queries are all done via the portal, removing the need for back and forth emails. Spend limits against cost centres are now set for individual managers to better control authorisation.

It means that month end figures are now 100% accurate and cashflow forecasts can be made with confidence.
